Leadon Vale Veterinary Centre have been serving their local community for over 40 years.

With our long standing experience, knowledge and professional skills, we always treat our patients in the most compassionate and effective way possible.

The premises of Leadon Vale Veterinary Centre was purpose built in 1977.

Two often-overlooked aspects of practice life underline commitment to the care of patients.

Firstly continuing education with all vets regularly attending approved training courses and nurses encouraged to achieve NVQ status.

Practice based consultations are usually by appointment. However, emergency cases will be seen at any time. Leadon Vale Vets works closely with Vets Now to ensure 24 hour,
365 days per year urgent and emergency care is available for your pet. All we ask for is a phone-call to the centre, so that we can get everything ready for the examination of the animal in need.

Pets are part of the family and that’s why here at Leadon Vale Veterinary Centre, we treat our clients and patients with the same respect and care we would give our own.

Everyone was very friendly and the vet nurse made my cat feel very at ease. I’m really glad that the nurse checked my cats microchip as it turned out it was inactive, my cat loves to be outside so it’s so important she has one so I’m very happy.

My injured dog was seen promptly, assessed and given required medications. The vet explained the situation very clearly, and her manner with the dog was lovely. Couldn’t ask for more.

Rocky is receiving excellent treatment throughout his recent illness from lead vet Rachel and he has been looked after extremely well by all the support staff too, from all the veterinary nurses through to all the reception staff, but along with this, all the team have given lots of time and support to me too. I would also like to thank both Ruth & Sandy for going above and beyond their roles to ensure Rocky receives a very high standard of care. Thank you.

We were able to arrange an emergency appointment on a Sunday for our parrot Sam. A range of investigations including blood tests and an x-ray were performed and Sam was kept at the surgery for further help and monitoring. It was truly excellent service.

Beyond exceptional knowledge. I don't trust many other than Rachel now with my dogs but to have seen two fantastic ladies there as well it definitely has kept my confidence having had such a bad experience previously elsewhere. The whole team are so nice and helpful, everyone goes above and beyond. Couldn't fault anyone or anything!

Emergency situation was dealt with swiftly & very efficiently. Vet was not only very thorough, but also attentive & gentle with my dog. She was also very considerate of the state I was in at the time. Great service and experience.

The helpfulness and general customer care from staff from the booking appointment stage to follow up calls has been excellent. I am particularly grateful to Carys for her most appropriate manner towards me and her impressive care of Gus throughout. Thank you.
